The Heuer & Universal Geneve books don't just contain the best available hi-res pictures on the best known examples but they also contain detailed information on the correct specification for each reference, including dial, hands, bezel, movements and accurate information on serial numbers, production estimates and numbers known. Unlike most watch books, the books by Crosthwaite & Gavin will enable you to identify the right watch which in the long run will save you a considerable amount of time and money. Buying the "wrong" watch (one that has been fiddled with or constructed later with the incorrect parts or in the wrong serial range even) is a VERY expensive lesson to learn in the current market!
